In Canada, only a licensed consultant, a lawyer or a Québec notary can charge you for immigration advice. Everyone on FindMyConsultant holds that licence.

The concept

FindMyConsultant is an independent directory of all 11,099 licensed immigration consultants in Canada, designed around trust, fit and plain answers

Built from the CICC public register. Every consultant who is entitled to practise gets a free profile, and there is no ranking you can buy. Tell us about your case and we'll show who fits.

Who can help you

Every consultant holds one of three licence classes, L1, L2 or L3, and every profile shows which one, with the date we last checked it

L1 and L2 are consultant classes; L1 is typically held by consultants newer to the profession. L3 (RCIC-IRB) can also represent you at the Immigration and Refugee Board.

Active licence

We list only consultants the CICC register shows as entitled to practise. If a licence is suspended or ends, the profile stops appearing in results.

Licence class

L1, L2 or L3, straight from the register, so you know who can file your application and who can represent you at the IRB.

Last checked

Every card and profile shows the date we last checked the public register, so you never have to take a listing on trust.

Your language

Search by the language you would rather speak. Consultants list the languages they work in on their profile.

Sponsored, labelled

Paid placements sit in a separate box marked Sponsored. They are never mixed into your best matches.

Every profile is built to answer the questions you would ask before you hire anyone: who they are, what they handle, and how to reach them.

Licence number and class. Case types and languages. Where they practise, in person or online. A clear way to book a consultation, and nobody calls you unless you ask.

Choosing a consultant means choosing who speaks for you. So the choice should start from facts: a licence, a class, a date.

Good to know

Searching, matching and contacting consultants is free. Consultants pay only for optional profile upgrades, never to rank higher in your matches.

FindMyConsultant is not the government, the CICC, IRCC or a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice.

Licence data comes from the CICC public register. We last checked every listing in September 2026.

Your free profile is already here. Claim it to add your photo, services and booking link, or turn it into your own mini-website.

Answer five questions and see who fits your case. It's free, and nobody will call you unless you ask them to.
